Brian McKenna MD, FACOG  completed his training at the University Hospital at Stony Brook, NY.  He has been practicing OB/GYN in Suffolk County since 1992 and has been the President of the Medical Staff at St. Catherine of Sienna Hospital as well as a member of the Executive Committee and the Chairman of the Credentialing Committee.  Dr. McKenna has a particular interest in pelvic reconstructive surgery as well as advanced laparoscopic surgery.    He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is Board Certified.  He is also a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.  Dr. McKenna is the founding partner of Contemporary Women's Care.  His practice philosophy is one of compassionate and courteous care in a state of the art environment which focuses on global women's health care.

Gloria Escamilla MD, FACOG completed her training at the University Hospital at Stony Brook, NY.   She joined Contemporary Women's Care in 1995 and became a senior partner in 1998.  She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is Board Certified.  Dr. Escamilla speaks fluent Spanish and offers comprehensive women's healthcare.

 Joyce D. Rubin MD, FACOG joined Contemporary Women's Care in 2005 after completing her training at the State University Hospital at Stony Brook, NY.  She is a Fellow of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is Board Certified. Dr. Rubin is fluent in Spanish and offers comprehensive women's healthcare.

Vanessa Soviero  MD, FACOG joined Contemporary Women's Care in 2009 after practicing in the Setauket/Stony Brook/Patchoque area since completing her Chief Residency in 2005 at the State University Hospital at Stony Brook, NY. She is a Fellow of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is Board Certified. Dr. Soviero is fluent in Spanish and offers comprehensive women's healthcare.

Barbara Principio, NP  joined Contemporary Women's Care in 2006 and has been providing comprehensive, compassionate women's health care in a professional setting since.  She completed her NP while working over eight years at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in the department of surgical gynecologic and breast oncology .  She has extensive experience from practicing in a  private obstetrics and gynecologic setting as well as in a university setting at Winthrop University Hospital. 

Tracy Sullivan, NP is the newest member of Contemporary Women's Care.  We are excited to add her years of experience in perinatal women's health care to our team.  Tracy has extensive experience in private practice managing comprehensive women's care from full obstetrical services to complete gynecologic care. 

Veronica Ibaña is a New York State licensed esthetician who joined Contemporary LASER in 2007.  She has been instrumental in the skin rejuvenation and LASER hair removal services of the top Plastic Surgeons in Long Island over the past four years.  Veronica speaks fluent Spanish and is now available for all of your esthetic needs.
